Post-National Museum of Parakeet History, 2017- ongoing project
Post-National Musuem of Parakeet History is an allegorical institution which I created in 2017. It is run by Monk Parakeets, who are the metaphor for immigrants (they are foreign species in the U.S.). They deal with the controversial history surrounding Enola Gay (here personified as female), the Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber that dropped the first atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima in 1945. She has been exhibited at Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (an annex of Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum) without any negative fact about the atomic bomb or its effect to the human body since 1993.
